About
Hi — I’m Sam Ackerley, a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist.
I help people restore movement, reduce pain, and improve quality of life using evidence-based, personalised care.
Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing long-term pain, or aiming to move with confidence, my approach is tailored to your goals.
With nearly a decade of experience in musculoskeletal health and pain management, I combine clinical expertise with a deep respect for the body’s ability to heal. My treatment is personalised, practical, and focused on helping you achieve lasting results.
My approach is tailored to your goals — whether that’s recovering from a sporting injury, managing long-term pain, or returning to daily activities with confidence.
I’ve completed advanced postgraduate training and gained experience in techniques such as First Contact Physiotherapy (FCP), Non-Medical Prescribing (NMP), and Injection Therapy.
While these techniques are not offered in my private clinic, this experience gives me deeper insight into complex conditions, improving assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
While these techniques are not part of my private practice, they give me a deeper insight into assessment, treatment planning, and patient care.
I believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. From your first appointment, I take the time to understand your story, tailor treatment to your needs, and empower you with the knowledge and tools to support your own recovery.
